Holiday Hosting with Walmart

Holiday season is quickly approaching and now is the time to get ahead of things! I absolutely love holiday hosting. But it can often lead to days of non-stop prep and stress. Luckily, Walmart has me totally covered with food solutions for any type of holiday party, big or small!

I’m always impressed with how easy Walmart makes it to shop for fresh groceries online. Simply head to their Thanksgiving grocery section, where you can easily shop for everything from produce to turkeys to charcuterie board must-haves! There’s always a huge assortment of items that I can pick up or get delivered on the same day with my Walmart+ membership.

In fact, one of my favorite parts of holiday hosting is all the yummy snacks and festive cocktails. When I’m hosting, I tend to go to heavy apps and desserts. Those are the best parts anyways, right?!? So today I whipped up a yummy charcuterie board using some of my tried-and-true faves from Walmart. It’s almost impossible to mess up a cheeseboard. And there’s basically no prep which also makes it party perfect!

Holiday Drinks Recipes

Now on to the best part, some yummy and festive holiday cocktails. I’m sharing a non-alcoholic Thanksgiving punch that can be served to the whole family. It can also easily be turned into a yummy cocktail too! Another favorite of ours around the holidays is the Pomegranate Paloma below!

Thanksgiving Punch

Ingredients for 1 Serving:

1/2 apple cider

1/3 cup ginger ale*

slices of orange, red apple, and green apple

handful frozen cranberries

pinch of pumpkin pie spice

*swap champagne or vodka instead of ginger ale and then top with a splash of ginger beer

Pomegranate Paloma

Ingredients for 1 Serving:

1/2 cup pomegranate juice

1/3 cup grapefruit juice

juice of 1/2 a lime

2-3 ounces of tequila

ginger beer or sparkling water for topping

slice of orange, pomegranate arils, and mint for garnish

Not only can I get fresh groceries delivered to my door, but I can also stock up on pretty serve ware for my holiday events!! Gotta love one-stop shopping. Such a time saver too!
