Happy Friday everyone! This week was a doozy that’s for sure. I’m lucky I even remembered today was my day for the 2020 Spring Home Tour I joined, hosted by my sweet friend Marty from A Stroll Thru Life.
If you’re here from The Woodgrain Cottage, welcome! How beautiful was Shayna’s tour?! I’ve joined up with 30 talented bloggers to bring you tons of beautiful Spring inspo.
It’s hard to believe today we were suppose to be leaving town for spring break, heading down to sunny Florida for a beach vacay with the kiddos. Instead we’re cooped up in freezing Chicago weather for who knows how long.
But on the bright side…which is where I’m trying to stay mentally, we’re making the most of this forced slow down and am grateful everyday we have this home to weather the storm in together.
And since we’re spending more time at home than usual these days, I can’t think of a better time to refresh some of your spaces for Spring! The thought of a new season full of life and green and color is exactly what I think we could all use right now.
Spring Tour Part 1: Living Room & Kitchen
So let’s start talking spring decor.
In my kitchen I brought in a few new fun pieces but kept things pretty simple. For me you can’t have spring without some pretty flowering branches.
For me one of the best parts of spring is gorgeous flowering trees! Of course in Chicago this won’t happen for another month or more so I turn to faux! The best part, these options will look beautiful and never die!
How fun are these pretty new cutting boards from one of my faves Brooke & Lou?! Best part is you can save 20% now sitewide with my code “LIFEONCEDARLANE”.
I styled up with floating shelves with some fun new finds too! I love having this place in my kitchen to display pretty accessories like these fun ceramic berry bowls or pretty new gold fruit basket. Both also from Brooke & Lou!
I always love adding a pretty piece of art to an unexpected place like your kitchen. I small print like this adds tons of impact without a huge cost. Linking some of my pretty new faves for you guys!
Living Room
In my living room a few simple touches was all it took to refresh my space for spring. Some more faux spring florals, a couple pretty new pillows and a few decor swaps and spring has sprung in my home!
How gorgeous are these pretty new pillows from one of my faves Jolie Marche. I love her pillows are not only beautiful but affordable! Be sure to check out her site to give your space a simple refresh with pretty new textiles!
The faux alliums may be my fave, they are such a fun pop of interest and even better a budget friendly Target find! Don’t forget to play with coffee table books. In fact, I like to bring out my more colorful ones for Spring! Linked a bunch of my faves for you.
I hope you all enjoyed this first part of my Spring home tour and got lots of fun inspo for your own home! Don’t forget to continue on for more spring goodness, do not miss Amber’s beautiful tour at Follow the Yellow Brick Home.
