Hey everyone! I’m so excited to be joining this fun tour of beautiful Thanksgiving Tables hosted by my friend Tammy! If you’re here from The DIY Playbook welcome and thanks for following the tour! I absolutely love Thanksgiving, and while I’ve never hosted myself I do have big dreams of hosting my family down the road. Truth be told we’ll actually be traveling so I don’t have the true pressure of hosting this year, but I was still so excited to share some table inspo with you all!

We don’t have a large extended family so when we have Thanksgiving we all sit at one table, which includes my kiddos.  So when I planned this table I kept that in mind, and wanted to keep it simple and not overdone. I also didn’t want to buy a ton of new stuff, because one of my favorite parts about Thanksgiving is it’s the one holiday where it’s not about the stuff.  It’s about the people you’re with, and just being thankful for them and celebrating with a wonderful meal together.

So my vision came together when I found this beautiful table runner online.  The pictures really don’t do it justice, it has a beautiful shimmer to it and I just love the pattern. It’s really the star of the show here so it allowed me to keep everything else pretty simple.

Pretty white plates and napkins that I already owned were set on top of these pretty chargers.  I love the natural and more casual look they bring! I also used my favorite gold flatware that I swear just makes every table look that much more festive! I found these cute little wood fall cutouts at the Target dollar spot, and layered them over some cut eucalyptus.  And finally I did splurge these fun little pumpkin place cards at Target, seriously how cute are they?!

My final touches were some pretty candlesticks, a couple faux pumpkins and some gorgeous Trader Joe’s flowers for my centerpiece…and my simple but festive family friendly Thanksgiving table was complete! I hope you all have enjoyed this tour, and found lots of great inspo for your family’s meal. And head on over to Cristina’s blog to check out her beautiful table!
