Summer has finally arrived in Chicago and I’m SO ready for all of the fun Summer activities ahead of us. We spend as much time as we can outdoors in our yard and we especially love entertaining all season long!
So today I’m sharing some of my recent purchases that are perfect for outdoor entertaining!! These pretty and super affordable finds are all from Walmart and trust me you’re gonna want to snag them quick!
Walmart Outdoor Entertaining
Our first and favorite addition to our backyard this year is gorgeous steel and wicker bar cart from Better Homes & Gardens! All weather wicker resists rusting and I love that you can wheel it around for easy access when we’re entertaining our friends or family.
It’s made from durable steel but finished with a faux wicker that blends seamlessly into our decor! This beautiful bar cart will definitely get a lot of use in our yard this Summer!
Everyone knows that I’m a big fan of a neutral color palette. But when it comes to summertime, I love to add some splashes of color here and there.
So this year I saw these blue Sakura Shibori pillows at Walmart and knew they would be perfect for our outdoor sitting area. I love the way they brighten up the space and they’re also weather-resistant and fade-resistant so I know they’ll last us for many Summers to come!
Walmart Outdoor Entertaining Favorites
While shopping for outdoor entertaining items I also found the cutest outdoor decor and specifically pretty planters for your patio. Walmart has tons of different sizes, colors, and shapes of planters all for incredibly affordable prices.
I found this gorgeous Bellaro planter and loved the simple striped design. At only $10 you really can’t go wrong and you can even move it inside during the colder winter months!
The next outdoor upgrade we made was to add a few of these LED pathway downlights from Walmart. They produce 20 lumens of bright light and they’re solar powered so you don’t need to worry about any wiring.
These lights definitely elevate the look of our yard and I love that it makes our outdoor space safer for our kids once the sun goes down.
Walmart Summer Outdoor Dining Favorites
Walmart has such an amazing selection of outdoor tableware and accessories! They’re all perfectly designed to create a bright and happy atmosphere for our family’s outdoor dinners.
Not to mention the prices are always amazing! These bamboo melamine dinner plates are only $2.97 each and they come in 3 mix and match color options too.
They’re also 100% BPA Free, non-toxic, and non-porous so you won’t be worrying about germs and bacteria. Also, they look particularly good once placed upon these ivory woven jute and chenille placemats!
Walmart also provides matching bamboo melamine bowls that are equally affordable and elegant. I love having a full matching set of these durable plates and bowls for our outdoor dinners so we can have worry-free meals in the beautiful Summer sunshine.
Another great addition to our outdoor dining table is these tall ribbed tumblers! These elegant and classic tumblers complete our backyard tablescape but are also perfect for poolside or patio beverages!
The last of our favorite Walmart home Summer refresh finds is this lovely condiment board set. Your guests or family will love digging into this versatile 4-piece bowl and tray set for some yummy snacks, appetizers, dips, garnishes, or condiments.
I love this set and it’s definitely a must-have for any outdoor get-together.
