I know many of us have been trying to take advantage of all this extra time spent at home the last couple of months. One silver lining is actually having some time to tackle those long overdue projects and trying to get spaces organized and decluttered.
Our basement has always been that problem area that I continue to put off in terms of organization, specifically the kids playroom. Between the toys, art supplies, dress up clothes, and legos being used daily this space has pretty much been a complete disaster the last two months.
I was so excited to partner with Lowe’s and force myself to finally tackle this space. Not only for me, but I wanted my kids to have a clean space to enjoy playing in and feel inspired to create all their beautiful projects.
Lucky for me Lowe’s has a huge selection of home organization solutions. My goal was to add function to my space without sacrificing style. I found some amazing items that I knew would be perfect for this project, and at amazing prices!
Playroom Organization with Lowe’s
This first item I snagged from Lowe’s was this cube storage unit and these hyacinth crate bins to get a handle on all the small toys and legos. Such a simple solution that made a huge impact with the clutter.

The next item and probably my favorite part of this project was this shelving unit, the absolutely perfect solution for all our dress up clothes that had been previously just laying all over the floor! Even better was the affordable price for this great Lowe’s find.

When it comes to storage that is both functional and stylish, I always turn to bins and baskets! I was so excited to find a huge selection at Lowe’s in all sorts of shapes and sizes!
Lastly I was hoping to replace the stools at our kids art table. As cute as they were I found them laying sidewise on the ground more often that I found them upright. I needed something light and airy that would stay put, and was so excited to find this cute desk chairs at Lowe’s.
It feels so good to finally get this space functional for our whole family! These amazing finds at Lowe’s helped me create a space that fit into my design style while giving my kiddos a clean and organized place to play, learn and create!
