Happy Friday everyone! I’m so excited to be kicking off another beautiful Chicago weekend. Even more exciting today I’m sharing part 1 of my summer home tour, hosted by my sweet friend Marty from A Stroll Thru Life.

This season I decided to keep things simple by bringing in some beautiful summer touches like rattan accents and lots of lovely blossoms! From your front porch to your backyard, there is always lots of space to add your favorite summer decor pieces. 

Summer Home Tour: Entry & Kitchen

You guys know I’m a huge fan of a neutral color palette and during the summer months, I absolutely love all the green from the outdoors. I even added a lovely wreath of greenery to the front door! Inside I simply add touches of light wood, pretty texture like rattan or cane, and of course lots of faux flowers like these pretty hydrangeas!

Moving into my kitchen, a couple of quick swaps were all it took to make it ready for summertime! These kitchen stools are the perfect summer home decor accent! They’re so comfy and the best part is that they’re also kid-friendly, the perfect place to sit and work on all of your favorite DIY projects. I love the symmetry of this space, and how everything goes together so seamlessly. From the paint color to the cupboards and every little piece of decor, it gives off such a lovely home feel.

I had to sneak in one picture of my sunroom, especially since I just got this gorgeous new rug that is giving me all the summer vibes. I love that this rug is so versatile that it could also be used in your living room or even your dining room. The pretty blue accents paired with this view of our pool are basically summer perfection! Plus,
