Hi all! Summer feels like it’s been in full swing here in Chicago! Higher than usual June temps means our family is taking full advantage of our our pool and yard, and I’m definitely not complaining!!
Today I can’t wait to share a recent update I made to our backyard, and I’m showing how I styled it not one but two ways using some amazing patio finds from Walmart!
Patio Summer Styling with Walmart
Walmart makes it so easy to update your space no matter what your project may be. From furniture sets to pretty outdoor decor, you can always expect to spend less but still make a major impact!
I decided to update our pool area, after months of e-learning and keeping the kids busy inside…I decided mom and dad could finally have a place to relax outside while the kiddos entertain themselves in the pool!
The first thing that immediately caught my eye were these pretty chaise lounges.
I love the open wicker design, and wheels that make it easy to move around as the sun shifts.
The neutral color of these loungers allows you to mix and match with existing pieces, and get creative with fun pops of color in accessories and decor.
While I was furniture planning, I was also lucky enough to score what is most definitely the chair of the season, the insta famous egg chair! This chair has been sold out, but be sure to keep checking as Walmart will take pre-orders online when it’s about to be restocked!
Our backyard gets a ton of sun, so I knew we needed an umbrella to allow for some shade.
I snagged this 9 foot umbrella in this pretty spa color, and an amazing deal too at under $100 for a quality umbrella of this size.
In my second option I used this fun fringe umbrella, another amazing value that creates such a fun design impact to our yard. It feels like a mini cabana in our own backyard!
Next up I was on the hunt for the perfect outdoor table, and I found so many amazing options at Walmart. In the end I chose this faux marble garden stool, another under $100 find. I also snagged this concrete accent table. I love that both of these could be used not only outdoors but also inside when summer is over!

There were so many fun options at Walmart, and pillows are such a simple way to bring in color or texture or both, and some at seriously amazing prices! Linking some of my favorite Walmart options for you below.
When it comes to outdoor design do not forget about pretty outdoor decor and accessories! These pretty planters are my new favorite and allowed me to bring some pretty floral color to my pool area.
