With the Fall season in full swing I decided to take a look at my home and search for areas that needed a little updating and Fall decor. Our dining room was the first area I realized needs a little bit of an autumn refresh.
We haven’t had a dining table for months so after ordering a new one I was so excited when it was finally delivered to our home. Now that we have a new table in our dining, of course, I needed to get all of the things a new dining table needs!
Since we’re deep into the Fall season, I decided to create a simple fall tablescape using some gorgeous new finds from Walmart! I’m so excited for family meals in our newly updated space!
Fall Decor For Your Dining Room
Walmart is not just a grocery store, it is always my go to when I’m looking to update my decor for each season. Right now they have such an amazing fall decor selection!
No matter what space you’re looking to freshen up for the cozy season, Walmart has a huge assortment and I’m always so blown away by the prices! For my fall decor each year, I try to create a cozy, calm atmosphere and bring in beautiful, natural materials like wood, brass, and ceramics.
Fall flowers and small pumpkins are always an easy option. But there is so much beauty happening outside, so keeping it simple indoors is key!
Stoneware Dinner Set
I recently stumbled on this new stoneware dinner set from Walmart and I absolutely love the neutral colors and gorgeous stamped detailing! Set your dining room table in style with this set that is modern yet rustic and has the perfect neutral color palette.
The set includes four dinner plates, four salad plates, four dinner bowls, and four cereal bowls. It’s all dishwasher and microwave safe and promise you will be blown away by the price too!!

Next, I knew I needed some simple yet stunning placemats to match my new tableware. Luckily Walmart had plenty of options and I found this stunning reversible placement in this gorgeous festive fall toffee color.
These woven placemats are designed with a ribbed cotton construction which provides such great texture to this fall table! Plus, they’re easy to wash and would make a perfect housewarming gift for your friends or family.
Taper Candle Holders
For some contrast, I used these taper candle holders which are such a great decor staple! It’s a set of 6 tapered candle holders that come in 3 different sizes which is super fun to mix and match on the table.
I love to arrange these into a cute little DIY fall centerpiece as a focal point on my new table! It’s a super simple yet easy addition that makes a huge difference in the tablescape.
These would also be so pretty on a console table, coffee table, or even an outdoor table for sunset dinners!
Wood Cake Stand
Next, I had to add another must-have to the fall color scheme! Walmart has so much beautiful Fall decor and you do not want miss out on this incredible wood cake stand priced under $20!
I love to use cake stands on my tables because they’re so versatile! While decorating for Fall you can display a few mini pumpkins or dried flowers then just place the cake stand at the center of the table on a festive table runner, and it makes the perfect Fall decor.
It’s also ideal for entertaining or just use as fall decor on your kitchen island with a yummy fall candle!
Rugs
Finally, to really tie the room together I added this gorgeous rug which is another incredible Walmart find!
