Hello there everyone! This is such a busy time of year but thankfully it’s finally starting to feel like summer vacation. Today I’ve joined some lovely accounts for a fun little summer bedroom home tour! If you’re here from Inspiration for Moms, welcome!!
I was originally planning to showcase my bedroom, but a recent rug purchase for my eldest daughter made me change my plans. So today I’m going to share her beautiful bedroom with you and highlight all of the fun updates we made. So please follow along and I’ll give you all of the summer bedroom décor details!
Summer Bedroom Home Tour
So let me get right to it and share some details. I saw this beautiful rug used in a space on Instagram and completely fell in love! I absolutely love the soft colors and pattern…not to mention the super affordable price tag. This vintage style of rug would also work beautifully in a master bedroom or living room. Even better you can snag this beauty on Amazon with free shipping!
Next up I swapped up her artwork above her bed using a piece from one of my favorite artists also found on Instagram. Sarah Nightingale has the most beautiful pieces, they’re quality, timeless, and will fill any space within your beautiful home with absolute luxury. Be sure to check out her site!
My daughter’s room recently got a window treatment update in this big window.
Hooray for no more temporary paper shades, only took us 3 years! Either way, I love these woven wood shades and the pretty texture they bring to her room.
Another summer bedroom décor must when it comes to changing things up each season, is playing with pillows. They’re the perfect way to add that little pop of color into your space and the best part is that they can be changed up so easily! The bench seat in my daughter’s room is such a mellow welcoming spot, so we mixed in some cute pillows that I already had and it didn’t cost me a dime!
Next up was the bedding.
I kept it super simple with a textured white duvet cover and matching pillow covers. We also added a soft beige throw to add some dimension and this gorgeous new Jolie Marche pillow, which perfectly compliments the artwork. Then for a little summer home décor inspiration, we updated her nightstand with some delicate faux florals in a white vase.
Here’s her cute little desk area, which got a lot of use during e-learning these last couple of years. I’m so grateful we had this relaxing space for her to work in, throughout that incredibly stressful time. This desk is actually an Ikea snag, but I’ve linked some similar options for you.
I hope you enjoyed my summer home tour! I love how just a few simple updates completely changed the feel of this space. Why keep your spaces the same all the time when you can feel inspired by just a couple of small changes? Simple and soothing for summer, but can definitely work year-round too! Hi! I know this is an older post but wondering what the paint color is on the walls? It reads on my screen like a very pale lavender, is that right? Thank you!
Beautiful room! Will you share the name of the paint color?
Thank you!
love this color of walls! Can you share what it is?
Beautiful! Where did you get those woven wood shades from?
Beautiful space! I am currently planning a redo for my daughter’s room and love the look of this bed. Can you tell me what size your bed is? Looking on the C & B site I’m guessing it is the full. Also, how is the quality. We want a bed that will last several years. Thank you!
Her room is gorgeous. Love the soft blues and greens you use and that rug really is a stunner. What a treat to have such a great room with a window seat too. The woven woods add beautiful texture too. Thanks so much for joining the tour, love your style.
