Hard to believe June has almost come and gone! But don’t worry there’s plenty more time for some amazingly fun summer activities! And nothing says summer is like a weekend getaway with the family to enjoy the great outdoors! I hit up Walmart to stock up on all my getaway essentials for a fun outdoor adventure and wanted to share my favorites!
Summertime Outdoor Adventure
One of our favorite things each summer is our annual family trip to Green Lake, Wisconsin. There is nothing like unplugging for a few days to enjoy some quiet time at the lake! Swimming, boating, eating ice cream, hanging in the yard, and of course, nightly s’mores make for a perfect little getaway! I always look forward to these vacations but there is also so much planning to do to make things go smoothly. Packing for my family is no easy task but thankfully I have a great system in place to keep it simple.
I always head to Walmart to stock up on some fresh gear, not only do I always find the best deals but everything ships super fast too! There’s always something you think of last minute, and I can always count on Walmart for one-stop shopping for everything on my list! It gives me so much peace of mind to know that I can get everything I need from one place and that it will always have the best prices. If you’re a mom, then you know how important it is to have a store that you can count on!
Outdoor Adventure with Walmart
I was so impressed with Walmart’s selection of outdoor gear and equipment! They have you covered from everything to camping to boating to fishing and so much more!!
When we go to the lake, we’re all about the floats, and with kids bouncing on them all day every day we’re usually in need of a couple of new ones each year. I snagged this one on a major sale this year. Also, if you’re planning a lake trip do not forget to invest in a Lily Pad. The best type of fun at the lake!! The kids spend most of their days on the water so it’s important to me to have quality products that you can count on.
And if you’re not able to sneak away, Walmart has you covered to simply enjoy your own backyard all summer long! Walmart has an amazing selection of water toys, bounce houses, hula hoops, games, and more all at their amazing prices! Nothing better than cooling off with some fun in the water on a hot day. Or if you’re looking for some more exciting activities for your kids why not gather some items and organize a scavenger hunt! It will provide hours of fun and build your kid’s skills at the same time.
